ORNAMENT # 21
This Santa takes a
little longer to make
but he is worth the
effort.
You can make his
clothes in any color.
Remember, you are
not restricted to the
colors that I use.
If you want to make
him look like a
shepherd for a
nativity scene, just
change his beard
and his clothes.
Make a white rounded triangle about 2 1/2 inches tall. Using
a knitting needle or paintbrush handle, make folds. Add the
arms and shoes
Make a log of white clay and attach to the bottom of the
head for the beard. Texture using the knitting needle
or needle tool. Add a log of white clay for the hat.
Make a long candy cane and attach to the arm
as shown. Add a mustache to the beard. Roll
a small clay ball and add for the nose. Make 2
white logs and add shown for the lambs'
bodies.
Roll 8 small logs of clay for the lambs' legs and attach as
shown. Roll a amall ball of clay for the hand. Make 2 white
logs and attach on top of the legs as shown. Texture with
the end of a paintbrush.
Make 2 rounded triangles of beige clay and attach for the lambs' heads. Add Santa's hand holding the lamb.
Add 2 small logs of beige clay for the lambs' tails. Make 2 small logs of blue clay, attach over the hands for
cuffs and texture.
Make 4 teardrop shapes and attach for the lambs' ears. Indent with the end of the paintbrush or a
knitting needle. Add 2 small logs of white clay on top of the lambs' heads and texture. Add blush to
Santa's and the lambs' cheeks before baking.

Roll a ball of clay for
the head. Make 2
ropes of blue clay
attach to coat as
shown and texture
with the end of a
paintbrush.
