Polymer clay CD tutorials and instructions

Over the years, I have always made special ornaments as gifts for my son's teachers. His
fourth grade teacher enjoyed crafting and asked me if I would teach the class how to
make ornaments. Children are always a pleasure to teach and this class was an absolute
joy to watch as they worked on their Santa ornaments. Many of the children had never
even played with play dough. It took us 2 hours but everyone managed to make their
Santa. I taught the kids step by step so you can imagine my surprise and delight when I
looked at their creations and realized that no two were alike. Each Santa had his own
personality and style.

Mrs. Prince, the fourth grade teacher , received the first blooming pot. It was the teacher
pot and she loved it!

Over the years I noticed that many of my friends and family members are allergic to
flowers, plants, grass.... just a lot of stuff that grows out of the ground! On special
occasions, they missed out on the beauty of fresh flowers. So I decided to make the
blooming pots.....each one designed to reflect the occasion and the personality of the
recipient.
I wish we had digital cameras back then because the pictures I took with my little
instamatic don't scan well .

Well, my son is in his last year of college and no longer needs me to make ornaments for
his teachers. I hope you enjoy the Blooming Pots projects. They are fun and sure to bring
a smile to anyone's face.
